On 6th July 2024, Non-Residential Training Programme on Importance of Fishery By-Products, Fish Consumption and Process of Making Value Added Products under PMMSY implemented by Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Govt. of Nagaland was conducted at St. Xavier College, Jalukie, Nagaland. It was successfully coordinated by Ma’am Dory Yanthan, Fisheries Dept, Govt. of Nagaland.
Fish Pickle Making was one of the main activities of the event. Resource Persons included Mrs. Sheela, Mrs, Lungthuiliu, Ms. Chakanliu and Mrs. Meichuliu from Mhainamtsi Village, Peren Dist. Nagaland guided the participants on the methods and ways of fish pickle making. 15 students of St. Xavier College, Jalukie were oriented with skills on Fish Pickle Making.
