On 22nd July 2024, St. Joseph’s Pain and Palliative Care Centre Chumoukedima, Nagaland organised Awareness Programme on Palliative Care at St. Xavier College, Jalukie from 8.45 am onwards. Sr. Jibitha and Ms. Georgina of St. Joseph’s Pain and Palliative Care Centre Chumoukedima, Nagaland were the resource persons of the event. Students and staffs of the college attended the programme. The resource persons enlightened the participants on the facilities, prospects and challenges of the centre in extending helping hands to the people in dire need. The college also answered to the call for assistance for the centre in every possible ways in making Northeast India a better region, particularly in reaching to old aged and needy patients from poor family backgrounds.
