The Xavierite Grads Day 2024, coordinated by the Department of English, was observed on 19th July 2024, Friday, at 10 A.M. in the College Auditorium. The event, hosted by Lily, brought in participations from students of all the five Departments of the College, i.e. Education, English, History, Political Science and Sociology through various folk and western items.
It was a day wherein proud and happy parents, guardians, friends and well-wishers gathered to witness and applaud the graduates walk into the room taking the limelight for the three years of rigorous learning through thick and thin. The hearts in the room were even more elevated as Shri S Supongmeren Jamir, MP Lok Sabha, Nagaland, entered the room alongside the Principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Francis S Cheerangal escorted by the NCC cadets.
A total of 127 graduates were honoured with Certificates by Shri Supongmeren Jamir. The Batch of 2021-2024 also witnessed four outstanding performances. The 127 Graduates who only widened the chart of learners this sacred institution has produced thus far, served as a testament of the vision that St. Xavier College, Jalukie holds dear to. These graduates left in the air an inspiration and hope for the younger generations that they are definitely capable of touching down another milestone.
The event winded with a chanting of the National Anthem.
