On 11th July, 2024, St. Xavier College, Jalukie celebrated World Population Day with Poster – Making Competition under the theme: Advancing Gender Equality. It was coordinated by Women Cell of the College. The event highlighted the theme of population awareness. Twenty students from various departments of the College participated in the competition. Nchilung Disuang of Sociology Dept, Wiliabibo of History Dept. and Ngusanuo of Education Dept. were awarded First, Second and Third Prizes respectively their creative and insightful posters. The competition fostered awareness and engagement among the students.
